Base Schools

Your community school, called "Base Schools," provides all students with a strong academic foundation. Every family is assigned to one community school based on their home address. 

Find your Base School

  • Oct. 15, 2025: Kindergarten and Pre-registration opens for the 2026-27 school year
  • Nov. 25 – Dec. 12, 2025: Stability Transfer Requests window
  • Dec. 15–17, 2025: Initial School Assignment notification
  • March 2-13, 2026: Transfer Application window (for the 2026-27 school year)

  • Oct. 15-Jan. 22, 2026: Application window for magnet and year-round schools.
  • Feb. 19, 2026: Notification of results for all application windows
  • March 2-13, 2026: Second Round Magnet application window
